About this event

NEW MEETING LOCATION — Lighthouse Worship Center, 98 S. Trade Way, Rocky Point, NC 28457 (about 10 minutes north of our previous campus meeting site)

This month's meeting features social time, club news, member sharing or projects, and an instructional demo (to be announced).

You won't want to miss this great, very social meeting. Check back here or watch your email for details.

It's that time of the year — to clean out your shop and help the club. Bring in your forgotten or unwanted wood turning tools jigs, etc. for the WAWA tool auction. All items are welcome, but only woodturning related items will be auctioned. Everything else will be offered at a table like a yard sale. See the rules below.

The auction will start after the business meeting. All auction Items should be related to woodturning — this can include jigs, chisels, specialty tools, etc. Items for the auction should be brought inside the church no later than 9:00am so they can be set-up for review. A reserve (minimum) price can be set for an item, but the auctioneer must be notified of this prior to the auction.

10% of all proceeds from the auction and yard/wood sale will go to the club.

The yard/wood sale will be much like last year's except it will not open up until after the auction.

Anyone wanting to sell wood and non-related woodturning tools at a table can do so.

Please keep a total of your sales. This will be done on an honor system. 10% of all proceeds will go to the club. Of course, sellers can choose to donate the full amount.

All items brought in for the auction or the yard/wood sale must be removed at the end of the meeting.
