Weekend Woodturner

WAWA offering a unique class over one weekend teaching beginner to turn and experienced turners mastery of the skew chisel.

A weekend course for beginning and intermediate woodturners.

Consider joining WAWA and save $20 off the course!)
**********

A woodturning course featuring the skew (though not exclusively) to turn basic to intermediate projects. Free-formed instruction to suit students' needs.

This special weekend course will introduce beginners to woodturning in just a weekend and give experienced turners confidence in the skew -- which is the gold-standard tool of master turners. The course will be taught at our training facility on 4853 Masonboro Loop Road (behind Harbor Church) in the Monkey Junction area of Wilmington.

Course price includes all tools and materials.

Class size is limited to just 10 students so each student has their own lathe, not shared with another student, and ample personal attention from the instructor(s). Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis by payment received. When the class fills, a waiting list is maintained for the next offering and last-minute openings.

The cost is $145 ($125 for current WAWA members), which includes the instruction, use of machinery, and all materials needed.

This is a great opportunity for new woodturners as well as those wanting to firm up their foundation turning skills.
