What is this?
Lighthouse Worship Center, 98 S. Trade Way, Rocky Point, NC 28457
This month's meeting features social time, club news, member sharing or projects, and
two
demos!
Frank Miller
will demonstrate turning on a foot-powered treadle lathe. Don't let the lack of electricity keep you from turning!
Byron Rosbrugh
presents what he calls an “Informal Informational Filler” (IIF), a method for making vessels, boxes, and bowls without using normal turning tools or techniques. It will stimulate your thinking and enhance your future creativity!
Byron says, "As everyone knows, my shop-studio is also my laboratory where inventions are born, both in tools, materials, and techniques. I will share with everyone a simple method for creating turned items in a few minutes (without using turning tools). Another method that follows the worn out adage of 'waste not, want not,' and I think you will be amazed! See you at the meeting!"
You won't want to miss this informative, very social meeting.
