What is this?
A wood lathe is a simple, elegant machine. With proper care and tuning, it can last a lifetime. Neglected, the machine suffers, work suffers, and the joy of woodturning simply isn't there.
In this hands-on session members will learn firsthand how to maintain and tune a lathe by disassembling and working on the fleet of lathes in our Harbor Shop. Practical, real-world learning at its best!
Capacity for this clinic higher than most as participants will be working in one- and two-person teams, as desired.
Skill level(s): beginner, intermediate, advanced
